A Quality Score is a metric that we assign to each listing and is based on a number of factors such as the number of reviews you have, keeping a current calendar, displaying accurate rates and maximizing the number of photos you show. It also includes the number of times you respond to traveller inquiries and booking requests, the time it takes you to respond to inquiries and how many booking requests you accept through the CanadaStays system. So the more accurate and appealing your listing is, and the more responsive you are to travellers, the higher your Quality Score will be.
We are continually refining our complex search algorithm, but the basic principle remains – we monitor and serve listings ahead of others that are relevant to the traveller and we reward owners who are active on our network. So the higher your Quality Score, the more your listing will appear ahead of a listing with a lower Quality Score.
